Painting / Objects
Inner lifes
I am going for a new technique, a new color world and a new form language.
The acrylic colors are painted in many layers till the moment you only see
an imagination of the form. The last layer is an lacquer which gives the
work a special space deepness.
The titles of this work group are important for me as they open the door for
the content – even they sound surreal.
East-West
A project that I took up again with a view to answer the question of what forms the human body is comprised. When the human body is reduced to its most basic elements, it is always geometric forms that immerge.
The drawings are fragments and show the „form finding process“. I diminish
the anatomic studies to basic forms and signs. They are creating the „form
vocabulary“ for the paintings.

Light Objects
An interplay of color, form and light – a duality of materials becoming one. These are objects reduced to symbols and colors - concrete artworks.
Energy Fields
The paintings are a result of many layers of color, many of which were self-made from various pigments. The reflection of light on the surface of the paintings awakens ever new fascinating color nuances.
Sculptures
Portraits
Since my childhood I have been fascinated by people, in particular, their faces. With a portrait I attempt to capture the uniqueness of a person’s character. When creating a three-dimensional piece, ‘heads’ are modelled live in my studio while the rest of the sculpture evolves as a result of my personal perception of the model (commissioned work only).
When creating a painted portrait, a meeting with the subject together with a photograph provide me with sufficient direction (commissioned work only).
Small Sculptures
I do not categorize the sculptures into work groups: they came out, got a form and here they are. I see them as a result of the different work periods and I call them „mystery of forms“.
