Über die Werke und die Künstlerin:

Garda Alexander entwickelte in ihrer künstlerischen Arbeit über die Jahre eine reiche Formensprache, fasziniert vom Experimentieren mit Materialien und Techniken, um das Zusammenspiel von Farbe, Licht und Form aus verschiedenen Perspektiven umzusetzen. Für die Künstlerin ist Farbe wie Musik – eine Frequenz, die den menschlichen Geist auf vielfältige Weise berührt. Ihre Serie ‘Tracks’ entstand aus ihrer Erforschung von Farbfeldern und zeigt ein Spiel mit Farben und der Auflösung von Formen. Tauchen sie ein in die Welt und die Kraft von Farben und Formen.

Die Künstlerin ist während der Öffnungszeiten persönlich anwesend, um Ihnen die Möglichkeit für ein persönliches Gespräch zu geben, sowie auch sie in das Thema tiefer einzuführen.

Garda Alexander lebt und arbeitet in Zollikon seit 2002 und im Kanton Zürich seit 1990. Ihr Schwerpunkt liegt in den Bereichen Malerei, Skulptur, Objekt- und Raumkonzepten. In diesem Jahr wurde sie eingeladen ihre Rauminstallation ‘One moment to breathe’ bei der Architektur Biennale im Palazzo Mora in Venedig zu präsentieren.

About the works and the artist:

Garda Alexander has developed a rich formal language in her artistic work over the years, fascinated by experimenting with materials and techniques in order to implement the interplay of color, light and form from different perspectives. For the artist, color is like music – a frequency that touches the human spirit in many different ways. Her series ‘Tracks’ emerged from her exploration of color fields and shows a play with colors and the dissolution of forms. Immerse yourself in the world and the power of colors and shapes.

The artist will be present in person during opening hours to give you the opportunity for a personal conversation and to introduce you to the subject in more depth.

Garda Alexander has lived and worked in Zollikon since 2002 and in the canton of Zurich since 1990, focusing on painting, sculpture, object and spatial concepts. This year she was invited to present her spatial installation ‘One moment to breathe’ at the Architecture Biennale in the Palazzo Mora in Venice.
